A discussion around my personal journey into the world of Forensics, Security and Serious and Violent Crime. An overview of the challenges faced when first entering into the industry, securing a permanent position in a role that I am passionate about and making a difference in the field of investigations as a woman. I reflect on how partnerships with other women in the environment provided a sanctuary for sharing experiences, strategies, sharing successes, and provided the opportunity for us to redefine the investigations landscape.

I also reflect on the unique attributes that women bring our industry and how the work we are doing currently paves the way and inspires a new generation of female investigators.
