He is the co-founder of D-finitive Risk Management Services and the D-finitive Group in South Africa and UAE. Over the last 25 years, he led successful Governance Compliance Risk and Investigations (‘GCRI’) at an international and local level with a predominant focus in Africa. He is currently a member of the Health Sector Anti-Corruption Forum (led by Advocate Mothibe) and speaker for various international associations and organisations. He was formerly:
a. Business Analyst Schlumberger Logelco Inc, listed on the New York Stock Exchange (‘NYSE’).
b. Associate Director at Business Innovation Group reporting to the holding company that was listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (‘JSE’).
He supervised approximately 75 operational staff members and provided GRCI services to both public and private sector. The notable public sector clients included inter alia National Treasury, South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, Financial Services Board, Innovation Fund, etc. International clients inter alia included European Union, African Governments, UNICEF, Arcelor Mittal, Morvest, Omnia, etc.
As the Country Financial Controller for Southern Africa and Business Analyst for Western and Southern Africa, he was responsible for the international accounting reporting for five (5) different oil drilling production lines across multiple African countries.
He is studying towards his masters and has a BCOM degree, diploma in Business Management, inter alia Certified in Cybersecurity (‘CC’), Certified Anti-money Laundering Specialist (‘CAMS’), Certified Fraud Examiner (‘CFE’), Certified Risk Manager Practitioner (‘CRM Prac’) and Certified Commercial Forensic Practitioner (FP (SA)) and certificates in Information Security Management, etc.
