Last is a former lecturer and Chairperson of the Steering committee on the Diploma in Forensic Accounting and author of the investigative Methods and Techniques with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrator’s in Zimbabwe. Moreso, he is guest presenter of the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC). Former adviser of several public and private, listed, and unlisted entities on fraud-related matters. He is a three times award winner for best detective under criminal investigation Department. Last Mapuranga wrote several materials (modules) for higher learning for Anti-fraud and Anti-Corruption fighters which include Introduction to forensic examinations, Examination of Corruption, Investigative Methods and Techniques, Understanding a human element from intelligent perspective and Advanced Financial Forensic Examination. Currently, he is studying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) black belt plus under Vidya Analytics with the mentorship of Google and Microsoft.
